What is the Commerce statistics?
The commerce statistics provides you with specific information about a readers shopping behavior. Every time a reader adds a product to the in-publication shopping cart / wish list, the data is logged. The commerce area will provide you with both graphical and analytical data about how your shopping initiatives are performing on your publication.
What information is displayed in the Commerce section?
The following shopping cart / wish list information is displayed in the commerce section:
Wish List Funnel:
- Total Readers (including breakdown of desktop/laptop vs. mobile traffic)
- Readers who created a list
- Readers who viewed a list
- Readers who sent or printed a list
- Emails sent
- SMS sent
- Prints
- Sent or printed
- Average List Price
- Average number of items per list
- Total lists
- Total list value
Shopping Cart Funnel:
- Total visits (desktop and mobile) that created a cart, checked out a cart (went to checkout).
- Checked out: for those who went through to checkout:
- average cart value
- number of items per cart
- total cart value
- total number of carts
Product Performance Grid:
- Product Name
- ID
- Impressions: number of times a product is exposed based on views of pages it appears on
- Views: count of product exposure through dynamic product windows (DPWs)
- Wish Listed
- Checked out (Commerce Account Holders Only)
- Average price
- Total value (Commerce Account Holders Only)
Steps to access commerce statistics
The commerce statistics area can be accessed by following the steps below:
1) Click the Statistics bar on the left hand menu
2) Click the statistics link
3) Choose your Publication from the publication menu
4) Click the Commerce tab
