In the Standard Viewer, there is a setting available under the 'Other' tab which determines the behavior of Flash enrichments while pages are being flipped.
Here is how to access the setting:
1) Log into the Zmags Publicator and click "All Publications" on the left side.
2a) If you have not done so already, create a new viewer by clicking "Create Viewer" at the top. You'll need to choose an existing "Standard viewer" to start from, and then click "Next" at the bottom. The "Basic" tab will be open; give the new viewer a different name.
2b) If you have a new viewer selected on your publication already, simply click on its name (off to the right of your publication's name in the list) to access the Viewer settings.
3) Click the "Other" tab at the top. The setting is under the "Page flipping" section.
Here are the available options:
- Media always enabled
- Pause media on the page that's being flipped to
- Pause media for all pages during flipping
- Disable media for all pages during flipping
Depending on the setting selected, all or some of the Flash media enrichments in the publication for the duration of the page flip animation. In the case of large catalogs containing many enrichments, this can sometimes improve loading and page turn speed, but for the majority of publications it is recommended that this setting be kept at "media always enabled".
