The Zmags CommercePro solution integrates with a Client’s existing shopping experience, and therefore an implementation needs to be established that consists of the following:
- Loading of Product information loaded Zmags platform (usually using an XML-feed or an API to the client’s eCommerce system).
- Development of a Product window (Single product Dynamic Product Window DPW or Buy-The-Look-window).
- Integration with the Client’s existing e-commerce website (using an auto-generated “Snippet”).
- Integration with existing Add-to-Cart functionality.
- Integration with Client’s analytics setup (Google Analytics or Omniture)
A CommercePro implementation will usually be performed by Zmags Professional Services, but can also be performed by the Client/Client’s own technical team (there is documentation available), or one of Zmags’ recommended implementation partners.
An implementation using the recommended pre-defined XML feed and using the Zmags standard DPW template is straightforward and can usually be implemented in 4-5 weeks pending on Client input.
If the Client cannot deliver a Product information feed in the pre-defined XML format, or the Client require customizations to the DPW that cannot be configured within the Zmags standard DPW template, then the implementation time will be longer and more costly depending on the actual requirements.
Zmags Professional Services can also provide assistance with the production (i.e. uploading PDF and linking) and Quality Assurance of the first publication if required.
Zmags Professional Services will oversee the implementation project with an assigned Project Manager and - upon completion, the Project Manager will ensure a seamless handover to Customer Support and the Customer Success Program for the Client to enter the Zmags On-boarding Program, where the client will be able to easily take on recurring publications.
Zmags is a self service SaaS based platform where production of recurring publications and creative work are done by the client or their technical and/or creative partners without involvement of Zmags (100% Self-service). If there are special cases where auto linking or special instructions for custom recurring publications is needed, Zmags’ Professional Services team can scope this out separately.
