What are the accessibility options for visually impaired readers?

We now have accessibility options for the visually impaired, allowing a visually impaired reader to download and read the PDF version ; most screen readers such as JAWS support PDF readers.

Steps to access a visually impaired version

After launching the publication, the screen reader (if installed) will guide the reader to download the PDF by pressing CTRL+ALT+4. Once the key combination is pressed the download of the PDF will begin.

Note: When using an embedded viewer, this functionality must be coded from scratch if desired, and included on the page containing the viewer. This functionality is not included by default when using the viewer API or Verge HTML5 viewer.
